The Avenue And Capital Crab

This was a disappointing visit, and no restaurant should be judged on one experience. But tables were not well cleaned, and there were little ants.

It’s the Avenue and Capital Crab for me! This place is awesome! The food was cooked to perfection, the service was outstanding, I mean excellent. Now let’s talk about the crabs. Some the best crabs I had this year. Everything was just excellent. I would definitely recommend everyone to go there. I’m going back Today!

Very disappointing. We were eager to have their Capital Crabs but when we arrived we were told they sold out of crabs. They said we should’ve called to reserve. No such indication/suggestion on their Open Table site nor did they think to contact me via Open Table with that suggestion. Service was excruciatingly slow. Waitress apologized profusely noting they were understaffed. Inclined to cut them some slack on the staffing issue because of pandemic/Great Resignation/kids returning to college. But very annoyed by proprietors’ implication that it was our fault for not reserving crabs.

Food is very good for the money. I highly recommend this enjoyable restaurant.

Unexpected excellent guitarist made the experience just right!
