Steak 'n Shake - Washington

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. I went in to place a to-go order and ordered a shake, a Philly burger, and fries. I received the shake in just two minutes, but the food took 20 minutes to arrive. When I finally got it, the whipped cream on the shake was melted and a bit of a mess. Once I got home, I found that the fries were old, and the Philly burger was missing both onions and green peppers, which they had completely forgotten. Additionally, the bread on the burger was barely grilled and was greasy all over. Overall, I was very unhappy with my experience. I tried to call the restaurant to voice my concerns, but nobody answered.

Everything was prepared just as I requested, as always.

The burger was quite good, but unfortunately, the fries were pretty terrible. They were excessively soggy and undercooked, with no seasoning at all. The bag had so much moisture in it that it fell apart as soon as I touched it, leaving everything soaked. I thought the steam from the hot food might have caused this, but the fries ended up being cold and limp. Overall, I’m not sure I would order from there again, unless I’m dining in.

I've been a fan of SnS for over 50 years! While it may not be as great as it used to be, it still remains the best in its category.

No good experience. I wanted to order an order. I got a shaker, philly burger and pommes. he got the shake in 2 minutes, but eating took 20 minutes. the whip cream on the shake was a melted chaos. I came to the house and had old pommes and a phillyburger without wobble and no green paprika. they forgot. the brot was barely grilled so it was only fat everywhere. not happy. I wanted to call him, but no answer.
