Jimmy T's - Washington

We are from Guatemala and found out this place in the internet. We love it!!!

We were just visiting in DC, so I don't know if this place is already well known to the DC population, but it was incredible here. The food was affordable yet absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic and fast, and the vibe was just great. I think we even saw Jimmy T himself behind the counter!

A cozy corner location, but the booths have rigidly upright backs, and so are not comfortable. The folks seated at the bar seemed well known to the staff and that gave the feel a bit of an insider vibe. Food was ok and our server was very nice.

Didn't get to stay and enjoy the ambiance. First time going and you need cash. Had to leave. Seem like a great place to have a good breakfast and not spend your whole paycheck. I'll be back!!!

I hadn't been here for years and forgot they were cash only until after ordering. Not only was I not forced to run to an ATM, but told to eat and come back another time with my money. Class that is rare in this world. Plus they still serve a yummy breakfast.
