Loved this trendy bakery/cafe. We stopped in for lunch on a whim and had sandwiches and coffee. Service was friendly and food was great. Would definitely go back.

Best bakery on the Hill. They have great pastries and a fantastic walnut brownie, perfect to grab with some coffee and carry home to surprise someone. Friendly staff helped us make the hard choices of what to pick last time we were in.

We went back a second morning in a row on our weekend trip to D.C. their sandwiches are so big you can share with your spouse. And what really brought us back was the friendly staff. A friendly, caring staff really makes the difference in the atmosphere of a place!! Good job Firehook.

I had some extra time and came across this charming little bakery. What a delightful discovery! The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was cheerful and vibrant.
