Bagels Etc - Washington

The bagels here are excellent—freshly made throughout the morning, and the service is quick. Make sure to bring cash since they don’t accept cards. I often forget, but the ATM fee is worth it! DC has plenty of overrated bagel places, and since Bethesda Bagels closed, this is the only truly authentic spot for bagels that isn’t overhyped.

Absolutely awful bagels, you would be better off going to call your mother nearby. They are weirdly doughy and squishy and get mushed into weird shapes when cut.

I’ve been coming here for years, and even though I now primarily live overseas, I still haven’t found a bagel shop anywhere that compares to Hannah’s place on P Street.

Been coming to these lovely ladies for years and years, and for me it’s still the most legit bodega style breakfast spot in DC. Bagel sandwiches, self serve coffee pots, individually wrapped fresh pastries- not a trendy new place but it’s quick and tasty and well priced. Cash only but they have the atm in the front!

This place was busy and the mine was long. It moved fast and we had bagels in our hands in no time. It was great. The bagel was light and fluffy and not dense. Great snack to start the day.Cash only!I’d easily come back
