フィードバックを提供するFood was below average. The caviar and tater tots were a disappointment. The pork belly appetizer was decent but rubbery. Brazed short rib was over cooked and very dry. Ordered a vodka and soda and was not pleased to find they sent out a gin and soda. I ended up drinking it because the waitress took too long to come back. Overall, much better places to eat and drink in the U Street corridor.
For Restaurant Week, order 1 appetizer and 1 entrée from the regular menu, plus 1 dessert from a rotating list. All of the food we ate was outstanding, and so were the craft cocktails. Definitely worth a return visit!
The truffle grits and pork belly are my favorite. LOVE IT!
So my friends and I found this place via yelp. The look of the bistro/bar from the street seemed a little sketchy, but once we walked up the stairs, we discovered a nice eclectic space. Everything on the menu looked great. We started with the Xavier and Tater Tots (yummy). The star of the menu was the truffle grits and pork belly! Plus, they offer $16 bottomless Mimosas or **** Mary's. Next time I am in DC, I will be back.
Anniversary celebrations. I got an email saying we did not show but we were there. Got there early to enjoy the rooftop then went down for dinner.
