Excellent food and service. of the 6 on the table were 50 percent vegetarian and we were all satisfied with the hearty options. my only recommendation would be to offer better dessert options.

The food was indeed very good, but I felt it was overpriced given the ambiance and the overall setting. We ordered shrimp with gratin, tuna, chicken, and grains as appetizers, and while all were enjoyable, I can't justify spending $100 for those four dishes.

Great ambiente for girls. great dach terrace, good service, good quality eating at a reasonable price.

The food was below average. The caviar and tater tots were disappointing, while the pigeon spoon was decent but slightly rubbery. The braised short rib was overcooked and extremely dry. We ordered vodka and soda, but were frustrated to receive gin and soda instead. Additionally, the waitress took too long to return to our table, which was exhausting. There are many better places to eat and drink in the U Street corridor.

What a delightful surprise! While visiting DC, we selected 1905 for restaurant week, and when our Uber dropped us off, we were a bit worried by the exterior's appearance. However, once inside, we were pleasantly surprised, especially by the fantastic rooftop deck. Both the food and service were top-notch—a perfect 10. Though the menu is small, it offers a great variety. The short ribs were incredible! We will definitely be back on our next trip to DC.
