Sydenham Balti And Pizza - Warwick

I ordered a takeout for my family last night as a birthday treat. Unfortunately, I waited and waited but never received my order. When I tried calling the restaurant, I couldn't get through. Eventually, the restaurant closed, even though their website showed different hours. Today, I called again and initially spoke to someone who seemed unsure of what to do. They then passed me on to a colleague who had a bad attitude and couldn't answer my questions. They blamed the issue on FOODHUB, the company running their website, which I found strange. Overall, I won't be ordering from this poorly managed business again.

Never had a problem with Sydenham balti in the past but tonight’s experience was extremely unprofessional, aggressive and very rude. Highly disappointed.

Very oily, Luke warm, lemon rice tasted nasty and the delivery driver had no idea how to social distance when delivering and no facemask. Asked him to step back as he was literally on the doorstep, had to ask him 3 times overall before he stood back to allow me to get the food...not great at all unfortunately.

We use this takeaway for Pizza and Indian meals. Last night we ordered 2 Chicken Biryanis, side portion of mushroom bhaji, plus 2 naans. This was more than enough for 3 of us as the portions are big! Delivery is usually well within the quoted time and the food is always nicely presented and well cooked.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with generous portions and quick delivery. When my partner and I order, we typically get a few poppadoms, one starter, one main course to share, and a side dish, which is always enough for us. The cost is usually around £15, including delivery. Whether we're ordering pizzas or Indian food, we have always been satisfied with our meals from this takeaway.
