Augusto's - Warminster

Great meal at Augusto’s on Madison last night! As always! I want to share a story from a couple of years ago. I had booked a reservation through Open Table. As we were leaving the house to meet our friends, the phone rang and we learned that Open Table made a mistake and the restaurant was closed. They apologized and said that they would make it up to us. When I went on Open Table to book a new reservation for that night (we were walking out the door) the Augusto’s reservation disappeared from my account. At that point I thought for sure I would not hear from Augusto’s. I was wrong. They had been closed for repairs. Several months later, they called to let me know that they were open, invited the 4 of us back, and comped a fabulous meal! When a local business does the right thing, I think it is important to share. One of our favorites! Give them a try!

The owner and chef served us personally, and prepared exceptionally delicious fish and steak. We felt that the service was above and beyond our expectations. Nice selection of both appetizers and entrees. Very accommodating to requests for changes to items on the menu.

Disappointed in the food overall, veal parm was tough and was sent back, crabcake was good but small portion, duck was overcooked, chicken Marsala was the best dish at our table. Service was very good.

Had a wonderful New Years eve dinner! Everything was perfect!
