Thai Villa - Wanganui

We don't have a lot of nice Asian restaurants in Whanganui and this would be the best in town, the atmosphere is comfortable and food are delicious they do have a very wide range of food for you to select. The owner is very nice and helpful, if you are thinking of birthday dinner or gathering, this place is the best place in town.

My brother and I had an amazing night (June 2023 and really enjoyed our meals. Thank you for the amazing service and great atmosphere. If I resend my review it’s due to google always removing my reviews for no good reason : We had the entree for 2, sweet sour chicken and red curry. Fantastic!

I visited this restaurant to pick up a takeaway dinner, and I was pleased with the experience. The place was getting busier, so I checked if I could order the Lamb Shank Meal to take home. Although they had received a large order, the staff informed me it would take about 40 minutes to prepare, which was perfectly fine. The lady serving me was pleasant and very accommodating; she took my mobile number to call me when my order was ready. True to her word, I received a call around the 35-minute mark, so I returned to pick it up. The food was outstanding! I received a couple of lamb shanks with meat that was falling off the bone, all smothered in a delicious, rich gravy, accompanied by a side of rice. The flavors were fantastic, and there was enough food for two meals. I highly recommend this restaurant and would happily return. Well done!

I'm really glad this place is back in business! It has always been one of my favorite spots to eat. The food is delicious, the location is great, and the vibes are fantastic. They also offer excellent banquet set menus!
