Barleycorn's Downtown Deli - Wamego

I had a wonderful time in Barleycorn's Downtown Deli! I went with only one other person on Thursday night, and there were only about four tables. The waitress who took care of us was super friendly and timely and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. I mention the mafioso, but her recommendation of the brisket was extremely apt. It was delicious! The brisket was removable, there was a perfect amount of onions on it, and the bread was soft and light. Not to mention the coffee was excellent for just one dollar. Run, don't go to Barleycorn!

Great service and super clean! The menu is huge and everything looks great so it made decisions tough. The Italian stallion with cheese corn was delicious!

I visited this restaurant a while back and was eager to return. The burger I had was fantastic, with a great flavor and a nicely crafted presentation. Unfortunately, the BBQ on my wife's sandwich was overpowering, which led her to leave most of it uneaten. The fries were good, though not extraordinary, and the beer selection was impressive. However, our server was a bit peculiar and did not wear a mask, which felt a little off.

This is a fantastic restaurant located in downtown Wamego! The food is excellent, and there are plenty of choices on the menu!

I had the Sanchez wrap along with the blackberry lemon peel, and it was amazing! The entire dish was sweet and perfectly balanced, definitely deserving of a 4 out of 5.
