Not Your Average Joe's Waltham

The appetizer was fantastic, but the main course was just okay. We ordered the chicken parmigiana and found it to be quite dry. The service was good overall, but the food could have been better.

I had to wait an extremely long time for my food at this restaurant. When it finally arrived, it was only fair - not very tasty and not even hot. The restaurant seemed understaffed as the server was clearly overwhelmed trying to attend to so many tables. This was my first time dining at NYAJ, but I have decided that I will not be returning.

Red was our waiter and did a great job, food was excellent. NYAJ is our favorite restaurant.

Ordered the Cobb salad which was very fresh and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Also had the cauliflower appetizer, huge portion and delicious. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.

The server provided excellent service and the burgers and pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. However, the onion rings were barely coated in breading and the jambalaya was lacking in flavor. Despite this, we still enjoyed our overall dining experience.
