Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The worst fried chicken I've ever had. Had been sitting all day then warmed up in the grease again. Soggy and soaked in the grease. Sitting for so long the bones were crumbling.

Cracker Barrel is always predictably tasty, and always a fun atmosphere. The service tonight was very good, and the menu had a variety of new items. Great dinner.

My husband is a truck driver and we were at a local truck stop when we placed an order through DoorDash. When we received the order there were items missing. I called and spoke to the employee who packaged the order and was told there was nothing they could do since it was ordered through a third party company, was told the same by someone who said he was a manager. We were also told that one of the items ordered that they don’t even have that item right now. This is the only reason for a 4 star … – show

Friendly staff, not always perfect service, but they have always been great about making it right. And the food at this location seems to be better than some other Cracker Barrel stores. Maybe a better chef?

I'm not gonna bash Cracker Barell. Its not their fault nobody wants to work in Knoxville.
