New York Pizzeria - Walnut

A walnut stop. I'm always happy when I'm back in my hometown.

I?ve been going to this place since 1991, maybe earlier, but that?s my earliest recollection. Although that may lead some to believe I am biased, I am not, this is the closest thing to New York Pizza I have ever had, and I?ve had John?s Pizza in New York plenty of times, this is almost at that level. Everyone that I?ve told about this place has been greatly surprised at their authenticity to New York Style Pizza. No matter where I?ve lived in a California or out of state, I?ve always made my way back to the city of Walnut specifically for this place (Family too lol). Great pizza, you will not be disappointed.

Had their pepperoni pizza with mushrooms. It was good. We also had their meatball sandwich which I give a two thumbs up. The bread was very fresh. The fries were on the spicy side but tasty. They have a big screen tv and for sports fans they had a hockey game on.

First visit there .was amazed by the good deals they have to offer! Mon.night special is any 1 LG. Topping pizza for only 10.99!! They have a variety of foods to choose from such as sub. Sandwiches (roast beef, pastrami, turkey ect.. to choice of spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna and more. If you are a salad eater they also offer a variety of salads to choose from such as chicken, tuna and tossed salad!! What's most amazing was the freshness taste of the cheeses that are in their pizza!!! All my kids loved it!! The pizza dough was soft and made to perfect without any grease!! They even sell shaved ice!!

Great, low key place. Came here a lot when I was a really little kid, so it's pretty dope to come here as an adult and get pitchers, haha. Solid food and chill, unassuming interior. It's been around for so long for a reason, y'all...
