Irv's Bbq - Waller

Stood there for 10 mins waiting for someone to come to the counter for a bbq sandwich, I asked for a chopped beef, he said all they had was sliced beef. I asked did he have a knife he said no. Lol

A couple years ago, this one of the best burgers around Waller. Not sure what happened, but the quality of food has dropped off considerably. The burger today was dry and not fresh. I had the barbecue chicken plate. I have eaten a ton of barbecue chicken in my day and I cannot figure out what they did to make that bird taste like it did. It was dry, sauce was bad, and the chicken didn't taste like chicken. It was almost like eating canned meat. Very disappointed.

This is a nice place to grab a burger or loaded baked potato

The Bar-b-que was not good and the prices for quality does not match. $13.99 for a two meat meal. The meat tasted canned. The only decent item was the brisket. There is a nice convenience store attached. It would have been better to grab some chips and gum.

BBQ was not good and I love BBQ. It was old and the potato salad was gross. But I don't know about the other food, it might be alright.
