So call ahead if you want to dine in to make sure.We did order two carry outs from the Special Combination menu … Steak Kow Stir Fried Chicken Almond with Vegetables. The meal included vegetable rice, one roll and we had wonton soup AND fresh fortune cookies. The egg roll was quite tasty and nicely filled with meat veggies (pretty sure re ingredients) but it was GOOD! The wonton soup was nicely flavored and had one big wonton and some onion. And the meals were filling and very tasty. The Steak Kow was tender, not stringy, rubbery or tough as we have experienced at other local carry outs and the peppers were fresh with a goodly amount of meat and a nicely flavored sauce. The almond chicken stir fry was just everything I wanted. Kudos to the chef on his/her fine effort. The same was true of the vegetable rice … nicely prepared and tasty. We were happily surprised with our meals, even with the amount of food. We had a bit left for a small lunch the next day and are looking forward to finishing it off.Our order was prepared within 15 minutes and waiting for us when we arrived and all was still hot when we arrived home. We also found this location to be an easy in/ easy out and closer than any other so we’ll be back as long as we are not disappointed in the future… Wish we could provide a photo but we were hungry and the food was good!!! PS: the mustard is HOT!!!!
Hubby and I went there for lunch. I ordered the Schezwan Vegetables, hot, no mushrooms. Got it with mushrooms and mild. It was tasty, though.Oh, and it comes with fried rice, but the soup is $2 extra. Hmmm! The fried rice had eggs, so I asked if I could get it without and was told it would cost extra. Hmmmm! BTW, we were the only customers there. The server was an older woman, who I think is the owner. Another oriental gentleman was sitting in a corner with his laptop and paperwork, but when I asked if he was the owner or manager, the woman told me he was a patron. Hmmmmm!! A patron with whom the chefs come out to talk and who goes into the kitchen? I think not. When I asked the woman why they couldn't serve fried rice without eggs she was shocked at the prospect since it was pre-made, and the chef would have to make and keep ready two versions of the fried rice. OMG, what a hardship! But she promised (probably with fingers crossed behind her back) that she would convey this suggestion to the owner. The hot and sour soup had chicken stock. When I showed her the mushrooms, she just said, oh. Oh indeed!! Only one set of customers, ordering simple 2 entrées from the limited lunch menu. How hard should it be to convey the order to the kitchen CORRECTLY??Whatever, lol.I'm not going back. Why don't some restaurants (especially ethnic, mom and pop, ones) understand that it is so easy to make a customer a repeat customer. All we want is good service and a correct order served. A hello and a smile wouldn't hurt either. Seriously!!
Food is well overpriced considering the lack of quality of the food. I ordered an order of chicken brocoli. I also ordered spring rolls with my carryout- they were soggy, stale, and unfresh. Not work almost 30! Could have gone somewhere worth the and enjoyed my meal sooo much more! Parking: Lots of options
I wanted to try a new family owned restaurant and I chose this place, but i will not be returning . Not only was customer service very rude and impatient. They also did NOT listen to my order and gave me the wrong food . 0/10 I would NOT recommend.
The man pictured below was angry when we entered the restaurant. He was very rude and yelled at us. He said he was the only one working and if we wanted to eat we would just wait. I told him we didn’t mind waiting but he just kept yelling. He continued to embarrassed us. I told my guest perhaps he was just having a bad evening because I have been eating there for almost 20 years. He threw the plates on our table and continued to be rude. I chose not to tip him when the bill arrived. This man came to the table and demanded a tip. He started yelling and told me I was going to tip him if only three, two or even just one dollar if I wanted my credit card returned. I told him tips were not mandatory with his rude behavior. He then told me to get out and don’t ever come back to this restaurant. He was so rude, still yelling and jumping around. Think twice before entering this restaurant. Parking: Plenty free parking
