Laurie's 909 Catering - Wakefield

I review a lot of places so believe me when I say this place is special. I have been a Wakefield resident for over a year now and I can't believe it took this long to discover this place.The bar is wonderful. Their draft selections are unique and always exciting to try. Danny is an amazing bartender and extremely pleasant. He made sure to make me feel right at home on my first visit. The entire staff is friendly and caring. You can truly just tell that this place cares about their employees and their customers. Everyone is treated with respect, dignity, and compassion.The patrons that come here are of all shapes and sizes but always friendly and great to talk to. It is a real local hub for some after work drinks with friends, coworkers, or even just by yourself.The food is immaculate. It is out of this world. I have had their chicken sandwiches and wings. I was always completely blown away by how good it was.And just to add a cherry on top, this place is super affordable. In a time when it seems that dinners cost more than rent, you can rest assured that at Laurie's you will be able to have a great time without breaking the bank and leave feeling totally satisfied.I don't know how you guys do it but thank you. I will be coming often to grab a beer and have a great meal.

Absolutely love Laurie’s. We travel back there every year to enjoy the fall season. No trip is complete without dinner at Laurie’s. The food, the staff and the limoncello cake, are all amazing. Either at a table or sitting at the bar, the place is always consistent perfection.

This place was amazing! Went for dinner with my mother and grandmother. Service, food, and drink were all excellent! The staff, owner, and guests were all so nice and welcoming. Definitely come here very small casual restaurant.

I work across the street and am so happy Laurie's 909 is open for lunch! Everything that we have tried has been delicious!! Hot chicken sandwich, chicken BLT, Italian, steak tip sub, all amazing. But my favorite go-to is the eggplant parm sandwich... SOOO YUMMY! Their espresso martini hit good too. Highly recommend

What a wonderful little spot! My husband and I dropped by today for a couple of appetizers and drinks. The bartender was attentive, and the food was excellent. The other customers were really friendly as well. Having been in the food and beverage industry for quite some time and owning a few restaurants, I can confidently say this is a hidden gem. It’s clear that the place is well-maintained and very clean. We will definitely be returning!
