The Red Kite - Wakefield

We were very disappointed to leave the restaurant without having our meal. After waiting over 1.5 hours for our main course, which was not ready yet, we decided to go. It would have been helpful to be informed that there was only one cook available due to illness. Despite the long wait, the service staff were polite.

We have frequented this restaurant often in the past few years, but this time will be our last visit. The portion sizes have decreased, the service was average, and some dishes were served cold. While most of the staff were very friendly, enhancing the overall atmosphere, we do not plan to return due to these recent disappointments.

We had a pleasant experience at this restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our Sunday dinner there. We would definitely recommend it to others.

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The menu was varied and food great although a bit expensive. The service was quick seeing how busy they were. Will go again.
