Oasis Takeaway - Wakefield

We visited this restaurant to try their pizza and burger meals. I must say we were definitely not disappointed. The portions were generous and both dishes were hot and incredibly delicious.

Paid and ordered online at with a estimated delivery of an hour, we rang at to ask where our food was to be told it was minutes away, then rang again minutes later to be told again it was minutes...away, rang again minutes later to ask if our food was actually coming or not as it had apparently been on its way for minutes and had ordered over hours ago we was told he would call the delivery driver and he would ring me back, he took my phone number and everything guess what... it is now no phone call or no food! They marked it as delivered on foodhub and have taken my money I would like a refund at the very least please!!

So I ordered from Oasis Pizza in Wakefield Lower York Street, Wakefield England in case you wondered) Food order placed at and predicted delivery at which I thought was a little long. Oh how wrong I was!!!! Came to watch...the door at as count wait for my food but passed, so did At I called the restaurant and was told that they would be mins. came..... came (an hour after predicted delivery) Driver finally arrived at (nearly hours after order) We only ordered a pizza some kebab meat. I feel sorry for the delivery guy as I assume he walked. No way that he could have taken that long in a car. Also, I think they need to upgrade their kitchen as I assume they still have to light their stoves by rubbing sticks together. Please pray for this restaurant as they are clearly using medieval methods to cook/deliver their food and I pray also for their hygine ratings as with delivery times this long fresh food would likely be rotten by the time it gets to the customer

.was the order of the evening from my brotherhood sohn . suck larger than be bokong, the half of the deep pan inch was left for mam n dad 10 minutes back into the many and wow. best crust we av for. can not wait to get our own next time, probs tomorrow, think big deep pan with thunder bringing it up in a bologne

Don't bother spending your time or money here. We waited for hours for our order to arrive, and each time we were told it would be just a few more minutes. When it finally came, it was wrong. We had ordered something else, so we had to call the restaurant to track down the delivery driver to come back. When we finally got our food, it was cold and incorrect. We wanted to give this place a chance, but we won't be returning in the future. The food was mediocre at best.
