Foodland - Waipahu

Foodland is a stop we always make before the beach for some poke. They have so many selection to choose from,its fresh and so good. We also come here right before our flight to the mailand to enjoy while we wait for our flight.

Absolutely love the spicy salmon poke. There are a lot of different sides you can find in the store or you can ask for a side of white rice. Best poke I've ever had and I have visited many different locations all over Hawaii. Service is quick just ask for the size and type of poke and they will put it in a container for you to go pay at the register.

Very convenient to have them across the street from Patsy Mink park. Dropped off the kids at Practice and then right over to do a quick shopping for dinner. Ambiance is a little dark, probably cus it's been around for a while lol. But it has everything you would find at any other Foodland besides Foodland farms. Service is good. No lines during my visit.

The fact that you could walk into a grocery store and get fresh poke from a walk in counter is amazing. I was able to get a 2 fish combo with rice for $10.99. Where i'm from in Texas, that's at least a minimum of $14-$15 and you get the bare minimum. Anything extra, you pay more. They also have hot food offering such as spam masubi, hot dog masubi, bento boxes, and many more. The spam masubi was great and finally glad I had a chance to take a bite of authentic Hawaiian made Spam Masubi. With it being a grocery store, you can also shop for many other household needs.

There is no computer app to find items. What makes it really slow are long lines. The few items line is closed.
