Alyssandra's Lumpia Express - Waipahu

We were pleased with our visit to the restaurant, but unfortunately, our order of Shanghai dumplings contained 5 instead of the expected 6. The staff apologized for the miscount.

If you're looking for a quick snack or a full meal, the lumpia from Alyssandra's is absolutely delightful. The wrapper is thin and crispy, and with your first bite, you can really savor the flavorful filling inside. The Shanghai lumpia contains meat, which adds to its deliciousness. From previous visits, I recall that the banana lumpia is quite sweet and serves as a delicious treat, almost like dessert. The lumpia is served with sauces like salt and pepper or a sweet chili sauce, but it’s also delicious on its own without any sauce.

Got the vegetable lumpia! Was soo good with the vinegar sauce. Love it so much.!yummy

5/6/2022 Stopped by here because hubby wanted lumpia. I ordered 3 Veggie and 3 Shanghai. They offered a choice of Sweet Thai Chili sauce or Vinegar Garlic. He picked Vinegar Garlic. Friendly lady took our order and rang us up. When we got to our destination, about 15 min. away, the lumpia were still warm in their paper bag. Not greasy or oily at all. Just crispy and filled with veggies or pork. We agreed that we liked the pork the best. First-rate mouthwatering lumpia!
