Kalbi Express - Waianuenue Avenue, Hilo

Amazing yummy food with very generous servings, we had the galbi, Korean chicken, BBQ chicken and spicy pork. Kimchi, japchae and seaweed were really good sides. In a little food court in a Walmart parking lot.

I have never been here before and was excited to go. I ordered BBQ chicken and rice and it was absolutely terrible. The chicken was rubbery and not good at all. Maybe it was just a bad day but I won't be going back.

Since recently moving to Hilo, this has been the best Korean chicken plate to date. I still haven’t tried every restaurant yet.

I found my favorite restaurant in Hilo on the Big Island. I recommend the ribs spice chicken combo. Of the 4 side dishes, I don't recommend the japchae because it's too spicy. Noodles are also good when you're craving hot soup. You can order without tip and eat in the common area or To Go.

A place to eat Korean food comfortably The portions were so large that it seemed like there was too much for one person... I ate the whole thing because I missed Korean food! Yukgaejang was delicious
