フィードバックを提供するWe were handed a worn-out laminated menu without prices and with many items unavailable. No wine list, the waiter asked us to look at a display wall behind other guests, which was uncomfortable for all parties. Unable to get answer as to origin of the chuletón de vaca. That apart, the food was excellent, wine impeccable and coffee great.
The food is of a very good quality and nicely cooked. The price is reasonable, I will definitely go back.
First of all I must say that when I review a restaurant I always try to rate my overall experience and not only the food. If I had to rate this restaurant only based on the food and the product that I ate, I would probably have to give it a Excellent rating. However, when I came out of this restaurant wishing I would have never went there, then I have to give a terrible rating. One of the reasons I feel this way was because I have a very good understanding of the restaurant offering in Vitoria, and when I compare my experience and the price I pay with other alternatives in Vitoria, it made me feel terrible about my choice. Going in detail: Ensalada de Tomate was great but well overpriced at 13 euros for just some tomatoes with olive oil. The chuleton was good but I have never paid 74.10 Euros for a chuleton in my life and that is one of the things I usually order the most since it is one of my favorites. I don 't know how much it weight, but it was only for me and 2 small children because my wife doesn 't eat meat. Maybe it was my fault for not asking the price before, but with this kind of products it is always difficult since they go by weight. Based on my experience with Chuletones, to pay 74,10 Euros for that chuleton was totally unreasonable. Then, when I order the dessert, I saw that the person who was eating right next to me ordered a chocolate souffle or something similar that looked very good. I told the lady that I wanted that dessert and she brought me a tiramisu looking dessert. I told her that I wanted the chocolate dessert that I saw in the table right next to me and she told me: The tiramisu also has chocolate on top . I was shocked by the response and I explain again to her that I wanted the dessert that was served to the table right next to me. She responded that they didn 't have anymore left and that the tiramisu they gave me it 's all they had. wow. So, I order one specific dessert, and instead of saying that you don 't have anymore left and try to look for suitable alternatives, you try to serve me something I didn 't order and insult my intelligence by saying that the tiramisu also is made with chocolate on top. Are you serious????? I was furious to be treated like that. End of the story: I ended up paying 12 euros for a dessert I didn 't want nor enjoy and a total bill of 133 Euros for 4 persons which two of them were children the age of 5 and 7. Will not come back giving the extensive restaurant alternatives in Vitoria.
Bona elecció per sopar,el xef Alex té molta experiència i coneix el que vol la clientela.
La mejor tortilla de Vitoria se hace en el Chapoo, muy buen ambiente, comida y gran servicio. Gracias
