La Gordita Mexican Food - Vista

The waitress Aurora was the worst. She had a terrible attitude from the moment I arrived, ignoring me and forgetting my drink order. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, she brushed it off and passed the phone to someone else. The service at this place is appalling - I would not recommend it to anyone. They sell you on one thing and don't deliver on their promises.

The carne asada burrito at this restaurant is enormous. The soda machine is located behind the counter.

I only tried a few soft chicken tacos and a hard shell taco, but they were amazing! I will definitely be returning.

The city I love Mexican food. these were deep fried, but could not enjoy the rancid oil. I could still taste it. next time I'd try something else.

It was OK. I don't know that I would go out of my way to drive there for anything. We ordered rolled tacos... they had zero taste, had the torta and the carnitas were dry, bread was good but hardly any mayo so the whole thing was pretty dry, also ordered the gordita plate and the rice and beans were OK nothing special and the the Carne asada gordita was the same dry not much flavor it's good that we got salsa to put over everything because everything lacked flavor. Actually threw out the leftover, there were a lot just not worth the reheat. Service was nice and quick.
