O Lugar Do Capitao - Viseu

Very quiet place with nice people attending. It has a vegetarian option, which is very nice. The place is curious and interesting. The atmosphere with a jazz musical background is lovely. The food in good and the price is very attractive. Good choice if you are visiting Viseu old town.

This is a small old man bar (with a pub-like feel) that serves food, some of which is vegetarian. The price was good for the amount of food we had but the food was only okay and I wouldn't go back for the vegetarian option. However, someone I was with had a hamburger and said it was great. A nice bar with lots of character and friendly service but the menu wasn't even printed and the vegetarian options were bland.

I was looking for local cuisine but couldn't resist the rave vegan francesinha reviews. And not disappointed! Seitan, mushrooms and aubergine instead of ham worked perfectly and the handcut fries were delicious too. They speak perfect English and are very friendly and helpful. They also had a few Portuguese special beers. Plus the music is very cool!

Obrigada Susana pelas novas experiências com comida vegan... sem ser vegetariana provei: massa à bolonhesa vegan, tosta vegan (com uma modificação pois não aprecio um ingrediente ,troxa vegan, hambúrguer vegan e gratinado vegan... tudo muito bom e aprovadíssimo... ganhou uma adepta. continua sempre a evoluir e a fazer um bom trabalho!!! :

Ótimo, adoramos a refeição, o vinho, a sobremesa, a simpatia e principalmente o valor, muito baixo. Recomendo.
