Kevin's Dog House - Virginia Beach

I visited for the first time, and it was fantastic! I ordered the Norfolk hot dog and the all-beef dog loaded with mustard, chili, and raw onions. The Norfolk hot dog has a natural casing that creates a delightful snap when you bite into it. The dishes are à la carte, so I also ordered a side of fries. Everything was served hot and was very satisfying. Make sure to try the banana pudding—it’s a generous portion for dessert! The atmosphere and service were both comfortable and welcoming. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I absolutely love the chili dogs at Norfolk! I travel frequently and have searched for the best chili dogs across many states, and this place will definitely be one of my favorites in Virginia. It brings back memories of some of the ones I enjoyed back home in Ohio. The staff is very friendly, and the establishment is clean.

This restaurant is quite popular, leading to limited seating and challenging parking. The hot dogs may be on the smaller side, but they are full of flavor. Service is faster than at most fast food places. However, when it's busy, the interior can get very loud, making it more of a "grab a bite and go" experience rather than a place to sit and savor your meal. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Friendly service. Such a great gem in the VAB area. Delicious hotdogs (w/kraut) and French fries. Sad they're not open on the weekends. Hope to get back for the banana pudding.Food: 5/5

We absolutely love this place, the food, and the family! We’ve tried a lot of ‘snap dogs’ (tough skin hot dogs) and theirs are the best! The chili sauce is the most delicious we’ve ever tasted and the buns are soft. You’ve got to try them….so worth the trip!!When Brunswick Stew is on the menu (winter time) I try my best to get out there! It’s scrumptious!!
