Cafe Maru - Virginia Beach

Everything about our experience was wonderful—the food, the service, and the atmosphere! We are big fans of bibimbap, and this restaurant did not disappoint. For dessert, we enjoyed some fresh fruit. Our baby really loved the dumplings, too! We’re just visiting, but if we lived here, we would definitely be regulars!

This is an American café that also offers some Korean dishes. The staff is wonderful! The cooks were all smiling and exceptionally friendly. They even have a photo album showcasing all the menu options at the register. The food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be returning!

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious! My coffee cup was always filled to at least half, but I certainly left with a full belly. The eggs I ordered were cooked to perfection, and the prices are fantastic for the quality of the meal.

I had the bibimap bowl for lunch and it was delicious. Hints of sesame, and rice vinegar, the beef was tender in it and the vegetables complimented the need without overtaking the meal. The staff was so friendly and attentive , as I would expect any place that is small. And they had desserts!!! I've been waiting for them to introduce their Korean dishes for awhile, and i am not disappointed.

Cozy little diner with friendly and super pleasant staff. I ordered the bulgogi and rice and an order of their dumplings. I'm super picky and loved them both. The dumplings were nice and crispy on the outside, yum on the inside. The boyfriend finished off my bulgogi when I couldn't after eating most of the dumplings and he agreed it was delicious. His teriyaki chicken was just ok, but the rice was perfect. Our other friend had bibimbap and loved it. He also enjoyed the banchan served with it. The sweet tea was spot on as well. The boys had coffee and I heard no complaints. They serve their whole menu the entire time they are open.
