Fernandez The Bull Cuban Cafe Midtown

First and LAST time coming to this restaurant. The service was TERRIBLE! W e were sitting for approximately 20 minutes before they took our order. We ordered bread and it was taking an eternity, so my husband had to remind the waiter about the bread and even after being reminded it took a while. So much so that the bread came together with the food and I told the waiter a little late. The bread should have came before the food, not with the food. He didn’t acknowledge me. My steak had absolutely NO FLAVOR. NO SALT, NOTHING! I had to pot salt and pepper and I ended up eating my steak with the hot sauce that comes with the bread, which was really good. I’ve never had steak with hot sauce BUT IT WORKED OUT. The beans and rice were NOTHING out of this world. The tostones were good. Our waiter NEVER passed by our table to ask us how everything was or if we needed something. My husband had to call another waiter and I told the waiter to bring me my waiter and my husband told her to bring a “Stella.” To say the least, I went to the restroom before leaving and noticed that there wasn’t any toilet paper or paper towels so I had to open the door and get paper towels from the sink outside. This clearly shows “POOR MANAGEMENT. “ There were 3-4 girls on their phones and talking amongst each other doing absolutely nothing. Management needs to train their employees and check the cameras. I was so LIVID that I told my husband to cancel the food and leave. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!We will NEVER GO BACK. ?

It is the first time I have been to this restaurant and I loved it, everything we ate was very delicious. The service was also good, we will repeat and recommend it to our friends

I have eaten here once before and Sunday 5th May was my second time. I enjoy Cuban cuisine and the first time I selected the Corvina fish with black beans and rice moros , with an order of fried sweet plantains. I also had a Cuban coffee with milk and tres leches for dessert.This time around I again ordered for appetizers, the yuca bites which came with a sauce, and my entree included fried Corvina fish with moros and fried plantains along with an order of avocado with onions, served with a sauce. I must say I enjoyed the meals on both occasions. I would highly recommend.

The food was of poor quality for the price. We ordered garlic shrimp and the palmilla steak looked like souped shrimp without flavor.

Amazing food.Havent had that good of Cuban food since I was in S.Fl.
