Distilerija - Vilnius

. Always crowded place, music is nice, but not a place to dance, more just to hang out for 2-3 people. They have delicious food through the day, and great variety of drinks for the night. Enjoy. :

This is a bar, not a restaurant. There are few reasons I made this distinction:. First of all, You can effectively forget about any kind of table service if it gets busy. Secondly, music is so loud we had to scream to talk to each other (I had sore throat the next day). Finally, the food is closer to diner standards than it is to a restaurant. That 's not to say the food is bad (apart from fried bread snack, which was clearly toasted and not fried), but nothing we tried stood out as above average. Selection of drinks is better. They also offer some interesting cocktails. Keep in mind that most things with lime juice (about 1/3 of all cocktails) will taste close to the same, because they put a lot of lime and it overwhelms everything else. I tried a bunch of different cocktails and right of the bat, I liked all of them. My only complaint about those remains that the 3 lime cocktails tasted too similar too each other (with minor differences in flavor, like one had ground cinnamon, one had sugar and the last one had chili powder).

The place is pretty cool, and you can feel like if you are at home inside. But the waitress wasn’t nice and she was a bit haughty when we asked something to her. She should learn how to speak with customer. We didn’t understand why because we wanted to have a good moment. Little disappointed with that…
