L'aventure - Villeneuve-Loubet

This used to be very good, but this summer has been disappointing having been regular clients, we will not return

Whilst we thought we knew all the restaurants, this petite beach restaurant has been overlooked and we would never have found it until we were recommended by our French friend Paul. He made the reservations and then it was up to us to find it!! Going from Baie des Anges to Antibes and there it was tucked away overlooking the sea with a small private beach. Being able to park in front of it made an agreeable change in this area!! A magnificent Salade Nicoise for two to commence followed by one Dorada and one Fried seafood. Both were too large for us to finish but ........ we did!! Dessert, two fresh strawberry tarts and the double espresso ‘s. Job done with the sea/beech in front of me and magnificent views of Nice to my left and Antibes to my right included in the price!!!! As General MacArthur said “we shall return”!

Comfortable family run restaurant with amazing views and a large menu. We opted for the fish and were not disappointed. You don't always find turbot on a French menu so I treated myself to that it was beautifully prepared and tasted divine.

We came here yesterday lunchtime, impromptu. We had a pleasant welcome, a beach-side table and shared a plate of sardines and salade to start with, followed by a Dorade each. All the fish is cooked to perfection over a wood fire, and was really delicious. With Kirs to start with, a bottle of rose and coffees, the price was 135 euros. A bit steep, but to repeat, the fish was truly delicious. Clean loos, pleasant service, although the terrace is a little scruffy. We will return.

It's really a shame despite the welcome!aperol spritz fade without orange without straw no pinched presentation of chips that fight in duel on small cup...20 euros frito mixto. No fresh. dessert. gourmet coffee with mignardise. The one with raspberry. The raspberries were molded from the inside....When you're told that the salad with a mixture of foie gras...It doesn't do it anymore because once you open the liver...We have to throw it...Or she wants to remove this salad but we should change the card. Oops.It's really a shame but it didn't really change two years ago. Dear for no big deal.
