Pizzeria La Fiorente Di Nicola Mauriello

My wife and I were returning to our home in Tuscany from our monthly visit to Naples, it was lunch time so we decided to get off the autostrada at Cassino and look for a place to eat. We passed several places, but when we came to La Fiorente the appearance of the place looked pleasant and appealing, so we stopped. And we found a wonderful place! It was a nice Spring day, so we sat at a table outside. The wood-burning pizza oven was ready, the menu varied and interesting, but we decided on cucina napoletana di mare, a delicately seasoned fresh octopus salad followed by a plentiful mixed seafood pasta, accompanied by their house wine, a very nice Falanghina. It was a wonderful lunch, just like we wanted. The service was superior, the outdoor tables relaxing, the large indoor dining room tastefully decorated, the bathrooms clean. We are going to Naples again this friday and we will stop here for lunch, we will be regular customers each month.

Great pizza diavola and marinara, very tasty. Great service and great price. Excellent quality of the ingridients.
