Sweet Beet Bistro

Attended the Lighted Tractor Parade and the wonderful aromas emanating from Sweet Beet Bistro quite literally drew us away from the parade into the restaurant. The food was delicious! We had the meatloaf with blueberry sauce and the cider chicken. Not only were the mains well prepared, but absolutely every item on the plates was flavorful and contributed to the overall quality of the meal. Ingredients are locally sourced. Wines by the glass were well chosen. Desserts were totally worth saving room for. Passion fruit Creme brulee, lemon curd pavlova, chocolate pot de creme...yum. Service was excellent without being obtrusive. The chef/owner checked in with us and was lovely. We sat at the central community table and this added another layer to the experience. It was fun meeting and eating with new people. If that isn't in your comfort zone, there are also typical individual tables. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will absolutely return.

We came to Greenwich for the weekend from NYC. The food is delicious!!!! We went last night and again tonight and we will be back tomorrow. We had the Chimmichurri Shrimp, the Thai Coconut Shrimp and Zucchini Linguine. We also had a Cheese and Charcuterie platter. Everything was outstanding, fresh and flavorful. Authentic farm to table. The owner JoJo was such a wonderful hostess.

I've traveled pretty much to every corner of this planet. But who knew I could have gone back home and experienced a Top 5 restaurant. Yes it is a modest interior but it has a warm feel with country-ish decor. Service is personal and relaxed. They are not standing over your shoulder waiting for you to take a sip of water so they can refill your glass. But they are always available. The food is....well...you need to try it. I've been there multiple times and it's on the front page of my list when I go home because every time the menu has something new and it's amazing. Enough said. If your within 2 hours of this place...you should go.

AMAZING!!! Hands down the best Vegan meal I've ever had! Got the olives and bread for two for an appetizer (Surprisingly Amazing! and the beet burger!!! (To. Die. For. and the vegan ravioli (phenomenal! as a chef I can honestly say the food was that of an amazing quality, portion and taste!! Will be coming here often now. Magnificent find! And I live an hour away but it was sooooo worth it. My partner and I can't stop talking about it! Also, lovely service
