We came here randomly while visiting the Douro region. This restaurant has very original local atmosphere. Owner and his family is very kind, they came several times to ask if everything is fine during the lunch. Owner speaks multiple languages. Food was delicious and price quality ration is impeccable. We didn't eat here but enjoyed a few relaxed drinks for an hour or so. Really lovely, family run restaurant seems to be very popular with the local people. Very reasonably priced and very welcoming people highly recommended if you've travelled on the train from Porto to see the beautiful vineyards and surroundings. We took the train all to Pocinho and had to wait an hour for the return train. Just up the road from the station was this wonderful, local restaurant. They have a limited, daily menu. We had a choice of chicken or fish. They had a great soup and the desserts looked amazing. Their service is friendly and very prompt as they cater to local workers as well as train riders.
