La Gondola Italian - Vientiane

Nice place, not easy to find, the food is very tasty and the Italian owner a nice person try out the salads as an appetizer and we ate several pastas (homemade) with different sauces. On the next trip to Vientiane we go back there.

Absolutely recommend the owner is wonderful and uber friendly and the food is divine. The gorgonzola sauce is to die for, I am in love I wish I could take this place with me!

Stayed at the guest house. Unfortunately the signage is only for the restaurant, this made it hard to find. Room was nice and one of the cleanest I have stayed in in Asia. Staff were good, when you could find them. There was a kettle and cups in the room, but no tea, coffee etc.

Good food and wine by the glass. The lunch specials for 50,000 kips are a great value

Really good Italian food here. Is ran by an Italian gentleman so the food is authentic. Good value for money compared with the more up market restaurants.
