The Reef Restaurant - Victoria

This place is now closed (March 2017). I ate there once last year and was somewhat disappointed by the food and service. This place will not be sadly missed.

Super friendly staff, very delicious food, nice atmosphere! Felt like being back at my Barbados vacation, two years ago :-)

What a find. Lively music playing. Excellent hostess and good Caribbean food. Who could ask for more? Corn bread balls to start, goat curry and Mahi. If you like hot sauce, try the pineapple and (I think) habanero sauce. Put it on the side to try it first. We finished with the fried bananas and mango ice cream. I personally wasn't too taken with the ice-cream. The rum punch was fruity, but not overpowering and the dark beer was good. It was good value for money. We would have stayed longer, but for having to go back and babysit.

Funky Caribbean interior, fast service, and great food. Reasonable priced for good food. Special of St Bart's lamb almost as good as I had in St. Bart's.

They have a number of plates that are outstanding but if you like rum then don't miss 'Get Juiced' which has nearly 3oz work of 90 proof alcohol in it but somehow tastes like jamaican fruit juice straight from the source.You know you aren't going to find jerk on par with jamaica outside of the islands but this is as close as it gets in Vaictoria and it is pretty darn good!
