Le Grand Cafe Des Arts - Vichy

While passing by Vichy on a solo road trip, I found this place. Of course I did not order great gastronomy, it was simple, effective and comforting. Great service! We make less and less people like that! Young girl extremely pleasant and boss I suppose) in small care. Thanks to them PS: I recommend to any passing biker friend in the area

Excellent local bar. Very friendly owner shame he doesn’t support the all blacks . Would highly recommend for local hospitality

My wife and I enjoyed a morning cafe creme and plump croissant early on a sunny Vichy morning. The location is great, right on a corner with people to-ing and fro-ing. The place Albert opposite the cafe is undergoing a sympathetic update, and when finished this cafe will have a nice view. Hope the modernisation will not spoil the overall character of the Cafe des Arts as it's increasingly harder to find cafes like this. One of the nice things about Vichy is that all the refurbishment that one sees is generally well thought with an eye to preserving all the beautiful architecture. Also lots of tree planting going on. Great!
