Urban Cookhouse - Vestavia

My daughter and I stopped and were impressed by service, decor and food. I had the chicken sandwich and a side with collar. It was great! Collards were on the spicy side!

I ordered the grilled chicken special. My experience was good overall. There wasn't a long wait time to order. My food came right out surprisingly. Chicken was tender. The salad was very fresh. The hot cheese pasta was good once I added some salt pepper. My favorite part was the warm orange roll.

The food was fresh and tasty and although the mid Sunday crowd made the wait a little longer, the line was less than 30 minutes. The busboys were friendly and the servers that brought the food to the table. The young man at the register was not. All and all. I would try them again. Their patio dining experience was great.

I really enjoyed the food and staff I came into contact with were very nice. I will be visiting again. Another thing I liked was how attentive the staff was to the lobby. A gentleman knocked over his drink and they came over super quick and took care of it with kindness.

I GOT YHE CHICKEN SALAD FRUIT PLATE. the chicken salad is OK but I like mine better. My granddaughter got the quesadilla and she said it was good. My daughter also liked her roasted turkey sandwich. I think the orange roll might have been the favorite. Nice place to grab a bite.
