Chuy's - Vestavia

We visited on a busy night and ended up sitting at the bar. The food was decent, and the service was good, which is why I gave an extra star. However, the bathroom was in terrible condition, with blood on the stall door and floor. I’m sorry I don’t have a photo to share. What I'm sharing is from the women's restroom. I hope this isn’t a recurring issue. I've informed Chuy about it several times over the past few weeks, but there has been no response. I really hope they have addressed the problem.

Chuy's is consistently wonderful, even though prices have risen a bit. There's nothing like their freshly made tortillas! The creamy jalapeño dip is also a fantastic choice. The service is usually excellent, despite the restaurant often being busy. Plus, the outdoor seating and views are fantastic.

The patio seating is fantastic and offers a wonderful view. Part of the outdoor area is covered with fans, while another section is open-air with parasols, and all outdoor seating is dog-friendly. They even provide a bowl of ice water for your pup and give them plenty of attention, which our dogs absolutely love! Plus, they have fun T-shirts that are great to collect; half of my wardrobe is filled with Chuy’s T-shirts from various locations!

Steak Burrito smashes into Luke Chili Gravy and chicken Fajitas with all circumcisions. OMG! I can honestly say that I never had such delicious Mexican food in the coolest atmosphere ever! Everything was extremely fresh. Pico, Guac, Serranopfeffer, everything! Amazing flavors like I never experienced in a Mexican restaurant. Our waitress, Kelly, was wonderful! She said everything was made by scratches every day. They don't even have a freezer in their kitchen. Oh and the chips. The best of all time. Thin, light and super crispy! Even the sour cream was different. Very thick, but creamy. Super impressed by the entire experience!

Chuys is always a solid bet!! I'm from Texas so to find one in Birmingham was awesome. The food and the service is top notch. The chips and Jalapeño ranch is off the hook.i had the steak burrito which in my opinion is the best thing on the menu. I highly recommend!!!! Oh and don't forget the margs!!!!
