Metro Diner - Vestavia Hills

The experience was very pleasant. The staff was so friendly and nice. The food was more than we expected, we were there for breakfast. They serve you so much food and a great value. I had an omelette that was so fluffy and it melts in your mouth. My friend had the French croissant a crossover of French toast. Never thought of using a croissant. The service was great. We'll be back for lunch and dinner.

We've been here a few times. The Cheesy-Tarts, the Monte Cristo Sandwich, Burger and the Breakfast were great. My husband got the chicken dinner and was not 100% happy, but the manager was so courteous! They are incredibly friendly and their service is unsurpassed!

Their Cajun pasta was amazing and so was the meatloaf dinner. Very fast and friendly service as well. And an added bonus was there was no wait time!

Absolutely delicious!! I had their special Apple Yo Hala, which was challah bread stuffed with apples, cinnamon cream cheese topped with apple compote, pecans powdered sugar, and a side of bacon!! Loved it!! Everything was cooked perfectly the cream cheese wasn't sweetened, so it had a light salty/sweet flavor, which is one of my favorite flavor combos. The bacon was thin, crispy and cooked to perfection. Staff there are extremely friendly helpful. Only thing I don't like is the fact that I didn't discover this place while I was in college . . . I would've eaten there all the time. But this has definitely been added to my Bham must visit list! My sister got the San Francisco Eggs Benedict, they were amazing too smooth, creamy, slightly crunchy with the perfect blend of flavors!

This restaurant was fantastic! I ordered the French toast topped with strawberries and bananas, along with a side of cheese, and every bite was delicious. My girlfriend had a southwest omelet with cheese and bacon, and it was equally wonderful. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a great dining experience!
