The Castlepost - Versailles

We attended a company sponsored event and it was very well ran. Food was great, staff friendly and professional. Visiting the Castle was enjoyable for me and my wife.

We were in town for bourbon tasting and saw this beautiful castle off the road. We decided to make reservations for lunch the next day. We looked into staying at their hotel for a future stay, but the website was down, and the booking feature was not working. We ended up notifying the hotel manager, and they said it would be fixed in a few days. It was my husband's birthday, which I notated on the reservation online. When we arrived there was a card at the table that read happy birthday, what a nice touch. we ordered the brisket biscuit, biscuits n gravy, and the mushroom n spinach omlette. All the food was good but brought to the table lukewarm and almost cold.by the time we were finished with a quarter of our food it was cold. The service was amazing as well as the atmosphere, but giving a 4 star because the food was not served hot. We will definitely be back to stay at the hotel and enjoy the pool in the summer.

We had a great experience at the castle. We didn't book a room unfortunately, but we did get an opportunity to visit the bar and enjoy a cocktail. Jordan was friendly, had great recommendations for us, and overall enhanced an amazing experience for us Houstonians! Thank you! we hope to be back sometime.
