Opals Confectionery - Verona

I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to our reservation at Peach Blossom for dessert. I requested a “6-inch cake” and was pleased to find that I could really taste the chocolate peppermint flavor, which is a seasonal favorite. I didn't have any specific requirements aside from indicating that it was for a birthday, so it didn't need to have a holiday theme. Not only did Opal create a stunning cake, but it was also moist and delicious! We had more than half the cake left over after five of us shared it. Thank you, Opal, for a beautifully crafted and delicious cake!

During our stay at the campgrounds in The Villages, our family often takes the shuttle to Turning Stone for a delightful meal. One of our top choices is to grab pastries from Opals for breakfast. They have an array of delicious options and the service is excellent. While it can be on the pricey side, the gourmet desserts definitely make it worthwhile.

The sugar-free cheesecake was excellent! However, the Black Forest cake was a bit disappointing.

I regularly buy the confectioners for my employees. The Cashew caramels and dark chocolate coconut creams are the favorites, but we never had anything we didn't like. Last time I had so many pockets that helped managers even wear. Thank you for going beyond and beyond and for coming the sweet treats.
