Nick's Salugo Bistro - Verona

Salugo always serves up consistently delicious food! Tonight, my family enjoyed chicken franchese, pasta fagioli, rigatoni bolognese, double-cut pork chops, and skirt steak—every single dish was amazing! Franco, the restaurant manager, is incredibly welcoming and genuinely cares about his customers!

What a hidden gem! The food here is incredible, and Franco really goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. He recommended the pork dish, and it was absolutely delicious! I also had the Chicken Francese with mashed potatoes, which was outstanding. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience and delicious food!

The best Sicilian pizza in town, and their pastas and sauces are consistently excellent. Delicious!

There were only three of us dining, and our food arrived just minutes after we ordered. My wife ordered the chicken piccata, but it was undercooked. The waiter took it back, and she opted for pasta instead. When Nick came out to clear her plate after she had finished, he said nothing about the chicken. I asked him if he was aware of the issue with it, and he replied rudely, implying that he had just eaten the "delicious chicken" after cooking it again. I responded, questioning if it was still the same chicken after being recooked, but he just gave me a nasty look and walked away. Is this really how you treat your customers? There was no apology, and instead, he seemed upset with us! He has lost a loyal customer, and I certainly would not recommend this place to anyone. It was disappointing, to say the least. Additionally, the pasta was terrible, tasting like it had been frozen and microwaved, and the sauce was clearly from a jar. It's unfortunate because I had hoped for a better experience, but there are plenty of other restaurants out there worth trying.
