Real Urban Barbecue

Stopped in for lunch and got the brisket sandwich and fries. The brisket was good, but could have been a bit juicier. The fries were really short like they were leftovers in the bottom of the basket. They still tasted good, just an odd serving. Both accounts may be that I came in after the usual lunch crowd.

Great real smoked barbecue. The brisket is outstanding. Try three minis and add a few sides for $5 for a combo. Onion strings are tasty if not a healthy side. They have a choice of sauces table-side including sweet, hot (Texas), and Carolina (vinegar). Never tried the ribs but sure they are great. Lemonade is a little weak but otherwise ok.

Wonderful food! Great service... went last night. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking can be tight.

BBQ takes dedication to make it yourself and I appreciate the southern style BBQ here. I really like the burnt end brisket and pulled pork. It’s a nice go to place for when we have guests in town from another state and overseas.
