Il Monterosso - VERBANIA

We ate at il monterosso with a big tour group and had a great visit. it is a very narrow road full of reconnections to reach the top of the mountain and the farm and restaurants. we were welcomed with a friendly staff. we toured through the farm and then sat outside for some nice appetizers. we then made ourselves inside for 4 courses from delicious farm to table food including ravioli, huh, bark and spaghetti. then we had a delicious pear cake for the desert. the food was delicious and fresh and the service was excellent. also the view of the lake and the mountains are spectacular. it was a bit hard to get there, but it was worth it.

Even if it were for a busy day, I would not serve any of my hospitable eating so boring. the menu was disappointing, lack of seasoning, salt, money. go to an apertivo and eat it in pallanza. road, we are actually walked through the beautiful forest!

This is a farm restaurant and hotel/apartments. the food is cultivated and grown up before the place and is freshly prepared daily. it is served a fixed price dinner with a Gieillion course. go hungry leave 100% satisfied. it's a long drive back and through. a beautiful wooded mountain top with magnificent view. if they have time and can stay, do it. go mushroom hunting, ride, relax under the trees...big family space too.

I was here during my vacation with my wife and her family. the place is great on a small mountain peak with beautiful 360 degree view of the lakes, the mountains and the valleys. the whole food was very delicious with all ingredients produced. there were 4 courses, including the antipasta and a delicious dessert. the drink was not included. the price is acceptable for all of the persons around 30-35 euro. wait they to return to italy and definitelylly I go back there

As already underlined by many other reviews this farm is located on the hills just outside verbania, and it is reached after km of endless hairpin bends in which you have to hope not to cross other cars in order to avoid manoeuvres from balancingists, but this however does not have to condition the judgment on the kitchen that occurs in any case discreet. classic appetizers with meats and cheeses, first and second of the tradition without infamy and without praise. degotation menu at the price of euro drink excluded. courteous service but not particularly fast. beautiful lake view.
