Meineri - VENTIMIGLIA

I stumbled upon this bakery at the covered market mercato dei fiori in search of cookies to go next to the coffee. Almond cookies with cherry in the middle are to die for, and just regular short bread cookies melt out of its softness. Super delicious. Cookies are sold by kg, and approx. 12 cookies is 3€, but could vary by which you take. I strongly advise to grab some for the train or for the next coffee.

The Pasticceria Meineri has various locations in Ventimiglia. I visited the small shop in the covered market. The pastry is fabulous. Especially their chocolate-orange cake. Panetteria e pasticceria con una vasta varietà di dolci e salati, la sardenaira e le focacce sono ottime, le brioche sono generosamente farcite; il servizio è cordiale, bravi, torneremo sicuramente!!!
