Blu' Island Bistro - Venice

Neat little breakfast/lunch cafe with a Florida vibe. Cool and interesting decor, for sure. I tried the Whiskey Bacon Eggs Benedict today. It was eggs-celent! ? Next time I want to try the Whiskey Bacon by itself. It was awesome. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Granted, it wasn't very crowded, but I always appreciate drink refills before I'm empty. If you haven't been here, be sure to check it out.

Anna Marie our server was very nice and friendly! Excellent service! First time there for breakfast. Food was excellent! I had the BLT breakfast sandwich. My sandwich had arugula, bacon, egg and fried green tomato on sourdough bread.Hubby had the Corned beef hash. Our friends had the Banana French toast and the Frittata with sausage gravy on top. Highly reccomend!! In the picture the Corned beef was a half plate. Other half of meal was shared with my friends husband.

Fantastic breakfast! Best biscuits and gravy ever. Huge portions. Wife had a crab omelet that she said was tasty. Friendly local folks serving makes a meal special.

WOW! This place was over the top superb. We were completely satisfied with our brunch. Vegetarian friendly and a foodie 's dream. My husband had whiskey maple bacon the sauce(vegetarian was also great on pancakes. Everything was delicious, omelette, pancakes, **** Mary, and IPA on draft, I would highly recommend! Only one small complaint, please reduce one time use plastic straws/bags (straws aren 't needed unless disabled or toddlers and then bring your own: . Let 's help preserve our oceans and planet by reducing, then reusing, then recycling.??????

Wonderful little spot for our roadtrip. We stayed at the hotel adjacent. They had an amazing menu with a little bit of everything on it that would,make everyone very happy. The bacon was delicious and my mother really enjoyed hers. My husband raved about their coffee cake. Love the design and decor
