Venezia Felice - Venice

Went to this restaurant during Venice because I saw on Happy Cow and this experience was terrible!! Our server who claimed he worked there for 35 years and also repeatedly said, "I understand you again and again while we wanted to explain to him that we were vegan. He clearly NOT understand DID and kept us dishes with cheese etc. The food / service was terrible and would not recommend if you want vegan food!

During my time in Venice, I visited this restaurant based on recommendations from Happy Cow, but the experience was disappointing. Our server, who claimed to have worked there for 35 years, did not understand when we explained that we were vegan. Despite our attempts to communicate our dietary needs, we were served dishes with cheese and other non-vegan ingredients. The service was poor overall, and I would not recommend this restaurant to those seeking vegan options.

Even though there are no explicitly vegan dishes on the menu, when I informed the waiter of my dietary preference, he immediately understood and suggested a veggie pizza without cheese. The restaurant was able to easily accommodate my request and the pizza was delicious. I was also pleasantly surprised to find some vegan desserts available. Additionally, they offered gluten-free options which were necessary for some members of our party.
