La Colomba - VENEZIA

Very nice atmospher..nice waiter..but when a resturant is not busy on a friday night during easter watch out..VERY overpriced..

If you are going to Venice and want to have a meal to remember, do not miss La Colomba. Every time we come to Venice this restaurant is first on our list. During our last visit, Salvatore was our server. He made sure that our every need was met and that our meal was perfectly prepared. We had the truffle risotto and it was delicious. The risotto was completely covered with truffles. It was a real highlight our trip to Venice. I assure you that you will not be disappointed. We will hopefully be able to return in a year to enjoy this incredible cuisine. It is not to be missed.

This place is run by a bunch of crooked Indians. Their sole purpose is to rip you off. Extortionate hidden charges. We paid 80 euros for 1 portion of fries with small portion of ham and cheese water. When questioned they tried to justify it. This place cannot continue to operate and rip off innocent Travellers. They give Venice a bad name. Hope it closes down soon.

Interior almost an art gallery of famous contemporary Italian artists Not a tourist in sight. Very local clientele . Not loud. Just very frankly high class. I brought a 16 yr old family member. His first “big” restaurant. They all were very kind I especially asked for myself I’m 75 and don’t need a lot of food) something simple. The mature d suggested a grilled vegetable plate. I gave him a list of vegetables. Voila. Perfect. The grandson ate the spaghetti with seafood off the menu. Not a bad price. No tour groups

A retsaurant located directly on the teatro la fenice. the food was impeccable, the service also, but the price-performance ratio is not at all! what we had overlooked: here not the coperto is usually calculated by the € per person, but on the total price are still servizio beaten, which were then for person times worked € no thanks!
