It is a classic style Italian restaurant which appears to be family owned with the variety of menus available to suit the occasion. We opted for the theatre menu, which was a two course option for 349 Danish kroner per person consisting of a king prawn starter, followed by rumpsteak with vegetables and gravy. You also have an option for a glass of prosseco on arrival for the price of 45 Danish kroner per person. The ambience was Informal and on the evening which we attended was relatively quiet, service was friendly and helpful and the food arrived relatively quickly. The waitress Fiona Was very attentive and even provided a free expresso at the end of their meal, which was a nice touch. Overall, the food provided was hearty and filling, with good sized portions and well presented plates. It seemed clear that to the chef was proud of his food which was evident and the attention to detail and taste. In conclusion, this restaurant is a safe bet for good food at a reasonable price, which if coupled with a visit to the theatre or adjacent hotel makes it a no brainer. Well worth a try.
Always delicious food, extremely nice and kind service. Definitely worth a visit. Not the first and definitely not the last time we go there.
I loved it. The food was amazing, the service was on top. I can greatly recommend their theatre menu, which consists of delicious king prawns as an appetizer and a tenderloin steak as a main course, with the best red wine sauce I have ever tasted. I visit Il Teatro every time i'm in Denmark. Their pizzas are amazing too!
