Trattoria Da Maria Rosa - VASANELLO

A locally owned restaurant in Vasenello with amazing home cooked Italian food. We visited for dinner several times and all meals were exceptional. Great friendly service too.

We had some of the best pasta and sauces that we have ever had in Italy in a small town called Vasanello. My husband and I just bought a small apartment in the historical section of the town and one night ventured out to Maria Rosa's restaurant. I ordered the Bucatini all'Amatriciana. It was delicious. We were the only ones in the restaurant so we had the pleasure of having Maria Rosa as our waitress and chef. We will definitely come back! Thanks for the quality service and food.

Friends had a visited this and we're very happy to recommend it. Unfortunately , we were a large group of 12 people and the place was busy. Our Italian is limited so we made use of the pictorial men8. Even soo, 5he waiter was very busy, confirmed our orders and yet still made many errors. Some of our meals were lovely but many were sub optimal and not pleasing. If you want vegetables, make sure to order a side dish dont expect grilled veggies to be anything more than some bitter eggplant and radicchio. I would not go back in a large group. We needed to go elsewhere after our meal to get more food. It was very expensive and so I will not recommend.
