The Flying Pig - Vancouver

Any location of Flying Pig is always one of my go-to happy hour places.

I came here one weekday for lunchIt was fairly quiet and the service was absolutely lovely and attentive.

Came here with the BF after an intense morning Barre class.

Waiters were nice enough. Food was bland, average, and dry - nothing special about the food. We'd heard great things about this restaurant before going, but didn't think there was anything noteworthy or interesting. Wouldn't go again and wished we'd gone to some other restaurant.

The Flying Pig (TFP) chain of restaurants have it about right. Nothing spectacular , nothing offensive , just plain average all round. Food ok, beer ok, service ok, value for money ok( although Canada is an expensive place , thanks to all brexiteers). If you want a safe , "vanilla " dinning experience that will be forgotten before you wake up the following morning , then TFP is for you.
